"An" Ostrich, "A" Man

Last Friday, December 4th's ESL Lifeskills 1 class was review. We practiced key verbs, (to be, to have, to go, etc.), in the present and past tense, as well as the immediate future construction, "going to". We also reviewed pronouns (personal and possesive), as well as articles (definite and indefinite). The picture was part of a demonstration on when to use the indefinite article, either "a" (when a noun starts with a consonant), or "an" ( when a noun starts with a vowel). I thought my ostrich wasn't half bad for a quick drawing, and the class got a laugh out of it!
